Countdown and Reminder (www.tigersyard.com)
This gadget counts the number of days remaining until any annual occasion on the calendar (ie:Birthdays, Anniversaries, Christmas, etc.) and displays the right flag accordingly (Red flag: Event day. Yellow flag: 7 days before event. Green flag: rest). When the specified occasion has already passed this year, it displays the days remaining until the next year's.
