I find it odd that after having the Daily Literary Quote on my Google start page for several months, there have been few quotes from female writers except for the above mentioned Emily Dickinson that I've noticed. There are zillions of great female writers who have left us many wonderful quotes. Get modern and include them!

I'd like to know how 'Roman Payne (American Novelist)' is considered a "a great author in literary history." While I did find one of his quotes mildly interesting, I question his inclusion in the database on two grounds: (1) writers of the past ten years hardly seem to have established themselves as greats of history yet; and (2) I can't find a single scholarly remark on this author. This seems like cheap promotion.
